Finally.
The beginning of this book likened your project and compositions to a musical score. Now that you’ve written and rehearsed that score, it’s time to put on the show!
In your case, that show is a movie file or image sequence of a rendered composition. You can create movies for computer presentation (via CD-ROM or the Web). Or—with the aid of additional equipment or a service bureau—you can transfer your animation to broadcast-video format, or even to film. On the other hand, your movie may serve as a prerendered element of a larger composition. Whatever the case, the rendering-process variables are the same.
