Chapter 40. Agile Iteration

Agile Iteration is a set of synergistic practices centered on an iteration. Together, these practices enable a team to get the most out of the cyclic nature of Agile development and accelerate their team’s learning. Agile iterations help a team be agile by cycling to recognize and respond to change. Figure 40-1 shows the practices that make up the Agile Iteration cluster.

Figure 40-1. The Agile Iteration cluster relies on the Kickoff and Backlog practices and Test-Driven Requirements cluster to set the goal for an iteration. The stand-up meeting adds additional feedback during the iteration, done state, demo, and retrospective to test the achievement of the goal.
