2.1 Agile Approaches
Agile methodologies are specific approaches to implement flexibility in the project management process, which have been designed in response to the specific challenges of the software industry (i.e., high uncertainty, ill-defined requirements, short development cycle, and no physical deliverable) (Agile Alliance, 2001; Lindvall et al., 2004).
