The research questions are:

• At the project level: What challenges are encountered when applying agile to large multiteam software projects and what practices have been developed to alleviate these challenges?
• At the organizational level: How does the context of large, complex organizations affect the adaptation and adoption of agile approaches and vice versa?

Three levels of analysis can be distinguished in the results: the development team, the project, and the organization.
