Introduction to UFT

Unified Functional Testing (UFT) is an automated Graphical User Interface (GUI) testing tool developed by the HP. It is designed for testing Web-based applications, Windows-based applications and Application Programming Interfaces (API). It is primarily used for functional and regression test automation. Like other test automation tools, it works by identifying the objects in the application User Interface (UI) or a web page and performing the desired operations on them such as mouse clicks or keyboard events.
