Working with PuTTY

PuTTY is a free and open source terminal emulator application for Windows and UNIX platforms. It can act as a client for the SSH, Telnet, and Rlogin TCP computing protocols. SSH, Telnet, and Rlogin are different protocols to connect to a multi-user computer from another computer over a network. Multi-user operating systems such as UNIX present a command-line interface such as ‘Command Prompt’ in Windows. PuTTY application is used to execute commands on the remote multi-user computer. Since PuTTY window is similar ‘command prompt’ window, it has no GUI objects. Therefore, the question arises how to execute commands on PuTTY window using QTP? This can easily be achieved by emulating keyboard commands on PuTTY window. ...
