Make it collaborative, iterative, and intense

We’ll explore what it means to build an agile team that includes designers and to work in an agile environment. One of the main differences on an agile project is that every team member contributes to product development. On a waterfall project, process functional groups work almost exclusively in sequential phases (more on waterfall in Chapter 2, “The Waterfall Has Dried Up”). On an agile project, a cross-functional team comes together (physically collocates) and iteratively develops the product throughout the entire project (1.2).
