In Summary

In this chapter, we talked about envisioning success: how we can use design to rapidly produce a shared vision that has been tested, validated, and refined, and tangible artefacts that people can look at, nod their heads in agreement, and say “Yes! That’s what we want.”

Envision is about starting off on the right foot and giving us the best chance for success. We don’t just want to jump at the first idea, or dive headlong into a solution; instead, we want to use what we learnt in discovery to inspire divergent thinking. We want to generate as many ideas as we can, because if our one idea turns out to be not so great then we have nothing left.
