Do it to understand what can be improved.
When to do it?
Do it continuously throughout the process.
How to do it?
• Safety check: If this is the first time you’ve run a retrospective with this team, you need to run a safety check to see if everyone is comfortable to give feedback. Read and display the “prime directive”:
“Regardless of what we discover, we understand and truly believe that everyone did the best job they could, given what they knew at the time, their skills and abilities, the resources available, and the situation at hand.”
