What is it?

It’s a way to illustrate customer activity scenarios or customer journeys.

Why do it?

It can help to illustrate a concept prior to development.

When to do it?

You can use a storyboard to depict both the as-is process and the to-be process and even use this method to draw comparison. Create storyboards during the early stages of the product development process when you want to explore or communicate the key benefits of a particular concept.
