CHAPTER 6: FINAL PREPARATION
In the standard ASAP methodology, the purpose of final preparation is to finalize business preparedness, deliver training, prepare for the transition to production support and perform cutover. In Agile, the purpose and deliverables remain the same, with the difference being that we run final preparation for each release. In essence then, each release is a mini project. As part of each production release, the training documents and course schedule must be in place. A business readiness plan, including job restructuring needs, should have been completed, or be in the process of being completed.
