4 Sustainable Economic Development
One of the most often-discussed ways in which artificial intelligence (AI) is argued to impact the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is through its effects on the economy. AI, proponents will argue, enables various beneficial innovations and scientific advances, and it can make existing modes of economic activity more effective. This, one might conclude, would clearly indicate that AI has a significant potential positive impact on the economy-related SDGs.
