Chapter 11. NET Growth: Networking, Exploring, Transforming
Do not have an opinion while you listen because frankly, your opinion doesn't hold much water outside of Your Universe. Just listen. Listen until their brain has been twisted like a dripping towel and what they have to say is all over the floor.
Change is a constant presence in all of our lives. The A.I.M process is founded on the idea that we live in a constantly changing environment, that often either surprises us with the unexpected or simply sidelines us with situations that we would not have rationally chosen. Around the world, perfectly reasonable, intelligent people with solid potential to take charge of their lives, to succeed, and to give back to their fellow citizens often find themselves in situations that stifle their creativity and leave them with the vague, yet growing, feelings that they could do better.
The A.I.M. process that we have been working our way through began with the realization that better is possible. The end goal of the process is to allow you to make changes happen and not be a victim of circumstance; to reach a point where you have proactively identified what it is you want to do and are actively working to make that happen each and every day.
