T his chapter is where all the previous alarm improvement work is made real. Here is where the goods are delivered to the operator. Without careful implementation, none of the carefully-done and dearly-paid-for work would be of any use. No design ever ran a plant. No report ever enabled the operator to do a better job. No redesigned alarm system ever worked better than its predecessor unless and until it was actually put into practice—implemented. So, please, take the time to read this and prepare and execute a really good implementation plan.
