6. Document Setup

Regardless of what type of project you’re working on, knowing how to properly set up your document is key to avoiding hassles down the road.

In this chapter, we’ll create and set up a longer document: a 10 x 10, 20-page album. Through this example, we’ll cover how to set up a document, as well as how to set up and use master pages, guides, and the ever-so-helpful Document Grid.

By getting the nitty-gritty out of the way in this chapter, we’ll be ready to rock and roll with the design in Chapter 7.
