Working with Linked Tables
Several options are available when working with linked tables. These options are not mutually exclusive; they are generally used in combination within an application. This section covers linking to tables using the user interface and using VBA code. It also talks about linking to views rather than tables.
Linking to External Tables via the User Interface
To link to a remote table through the user interface, right-click within the Database window and then select Link Tables. From the Files of Type drop-down list, select ODBC Databases.
