Troubleshooting our application

Hopefully, by the time you get to this section, things are working fine and our sample application Waaah is up and running.

However, if things didn't quite go as planned, here are some basic things to check:

  1. Make sure you installed IIS with all of the correct features listed in the previous section.
  2. Make sure you have selected ASP.NET v4.0 in IIS as the default .NET runtime.
  3. Check and make sure that your Waaah.deploy.cmd script did not return any errors.
  4. Double-check the modifications made to the web.config files, pay special attention to where the quotes are located.
