Strong communication is of great importance in enterprise service management. It has the power to drive you towards your goals and value-focused outcomes successfully by improving collaborative practices and holistic working, all while promoting transparency and building trusting relationships.

Throughout this book, I explain that my approach has, at times, been built more around governance than it was around collaborative communication. This was a great failing of mine, and if I’m honest, I continue to see others working this way on plenty of my engagements.
