Issues

A number of issues affect the business of data. They include problems ranging from the rapid growth of data volumes to ownership models that hamper the use of data in forms that complement rapidly changing methods of trading. In this chapter we consider some of the issues affecting the business of data (see Figure 2.9).

Data Management Evolution
