Now that your treatment is complete, you should continue to develop your original idea. Story development is the process of fleshing out your thoughts and ideas into a comprehensive and coherent piece. The goal is to have a completed film script or to conceptualize an entire season of a television show. It should become easier to communicate your concept to others through this process because YOU can now begin to see the whole picture. Once your story begins to develop, you will also start to make plans to find funding sources (see Chapter 4) and to create marketing ideas (see Chapter 7).
