Why should inexperienced filmmakers keep trying in a difficult industry?

Becoming an A-list Hollywood writer, director, etc. is like making it to the NFL, or the big leagues. Less than 1% of anyone who ever tried sports makes it to the pros. Don’t let that discourage you. If you are truly passionate about being a filmmaker, focus on that passion, produce great projects, network, and meet/collaborate with others in the industry, and the success will come.
