CLASSES OF FUZZY SET AND LOGIC THEORIES

History of human knowledge acquisition and communication has progressed from meta-languages, to supeech, to writing, to mathematics, and to computer languages. In analogy to M. Mc Luhan (1995) medium is the message. It can be said that natural languages are the carries of our knowledge.

In this sense human knowledge is affectively expressed in terms of “linguistic expressions” of our natural languages. This suggests strongly that we should develop methods based on “computing with words, CWW (Zadeh, 1995). It is surmized that when CWW are developed extensively, this could form the sixth stage of development in the progression of human languages.
