Network Visualization

Humans are wired to find patterns visually. We have natural abilities to see anomalies, patterns, clusters, and changes—and we can recognize many of these things without consciously looking for them.

Information visualization deals with the presentation of data in a visual format. The data may be numeric, categorical, network data (like social networks), text, and other types. Good information visualization supports users in better understanding the data they are seeing.
