Project Summary
The Project Summary is a brief paragraph containing a general description of the services you are proposing to provide. Each of the items mentioned in the Project Summary will be explained in more detail in the Statement of Work section. To help you formulate the Project Summary, pretend your neighbor asks you the question, “Hey, what work are you doing for ACME Organization?” Your reply should be the Project Summary, “We’re going to design a logo and build a website for their company.” (No need to bore your neighbor with the details.)
For the sake of formality, you should write your Project Summary with a little more polish than you would use when speaking with your neighbor. Here is an example:
