Testimonials
Testimonials can be a great way to add some additional substance to your proposal, especially if you are pitching a project for a new client. The Testimonials you include should be brief; one to three sentences is usually sufficient to highlight certain aspects of why you are so great to work with. If you don’t have any testimonials from previous customers, don’t be afraid to ask for some. In my experience, happy clients are usually delighted to provide a simple statement that you can use in your marketing materials.
Asking select clients if you can use them as a reference in your proposal document is appropriate. If they consent, you could consider including their phone number or email address along side their testimonial.
