Summary

In this chapter, we saw how to create and edit the user interface layouts using both the graphical and the text-based editors. We had our first small application finished, and we upgraded it with some basic components. You should now be able to create a simple layout and test it with different styles, screen sizes, and screen resolutions. You also learned about the different available UI themes. Finally, you learned about events and learned how to handle them using listeners.
