Chapter Summary

This chapter introduced adding sound to an Anime Studio project. Anime Studio can load and manipulate multiple audio files using the Sequencer. The Sequencer interface also includes commands to repeat a sound and control its audio level. When imported, the waveform of the audio file appears in the Timeline palette where it can be synced with the animation keys.

Sound can be used for sound effects, for ambient background sounds, and for music tracks, but it can also be used for dialogue as your actors speak. The next chapter looks at the specific case of lip-syncing sound to the facial motions.
