How to Get Ant
There are basically three ways to get Ant for your system. The first and by far the easiest way is to download a binary distribution from the Jakarta Web site. The second way is to download a source bundle from the Jakarta site and build Ant yourself. The third way is to access the Jakarta Group’s Concurrent Versions System (CVS) server, download the latest version of the source code, and build from that. Each method has its pros and cons, and we’ll discuss each method in depth.
