FASHION
Even with photography’s domination in the fashion world, there has been a resurgence of fashion illustration. Today, fashion designers use expressive illustrations to further enhance their signature look. We also see fashion illustrations on product packaging, in magazine ads, and as illustrative art prints. The saturation of photography on social media has brought opportunities to be more creative and instead of snapping another selfie of “what I wore,” many excite their audiences with an alternative view—like an illustrated version of their outfit!
