Chapter 5. Installing Apache Derby and IBM Cloudscape on Linux
In this chapter, we walk you through the steps involved in setting up your environment to run the Apache Derby or IBM Cloudscape database on a Linux-based workstation. If you want to install either of these products on a Windows-based workstation, see Chapter 4, “Installing Apache Derby and IBM Cloudscape on Windows.” For all other operating systems, you can use the manual method or the universal Java installation program (both of which are also covered in this chapter).
