The chapter presented the core elements of Web applications, including how to retrieve form variables, check form variables for tainted input, and design a Web application based on a page dispatch controller pattern, with the Perl subroutines divided between business logic and presentation logic. Finally, you learned how to create a Perl application with a graphical user interface using the Tk module.
