An Alternative to DSPLIBD and DSPLIB

System administrators often need to know the size of a library. IBM’s Display Library Description (DSPLIBD) command shows information about the library, but not the size of all the objects in it. The Display Library (DSPLIB) command will show the size of the objects within a library when using OUTPUT(*PRINT), but processing a report within a program isn’t considered a reliable way to process information, as report layouts can change with new releases or different languages (such as English and German).
