Adding 30 Days to a Date

There are many situations where you might want to determine a date in the future by adding some fixed number of days to the current date. We will look at two ILE CEE APIs that can be used to do just that. The first, Get Current Local Time (CEELOCT), returns the current local time as a Lilian date. The second, Convert Lilian Date to Character Format (CEEDATE), formats a Lilian date to a character string. Both APIs can be found in the “ILE CEE” category of system APIs, under the subcategory “Date and Time APIs.” Table 8.4 shows the parameters for the Get Current Local Time API.
