The Sort API, QLGSORT

The QLGSORT API provides a generalized sort function that can be used to sequence data in files or buffers. The example in this section uses buffers that are the list entries returned in a user space from the List Jobs API, QUSLJOB. The QLGSORT API can also be used to initialize sort specifications to be used by the related Sort Input/Output API, QLGSRTIO. The QLGSRTIO API can be called multiple times to incrementally add data to a sort. When all of the data has been added, QLGSRTIO returns the sorted results.
