Configuring the Script Editor Toolbar

By default, the Script Editor’s toolbar displays the following icons.

  • Record. Initiates building a script by translating user actions into script statements.

  • Stop. Stops script recording or execution.

  • Run. Runs or compiles and runs the script currently being edited.

  • Compile. Prepares a script for execution by creating a version of the script that can be executed.

  • Bundle Contents. Displays a drawer window showing the contents of a bundle (enabled only for script and application bundles).
