Project Preview: The Rock, Paper, Scissors Game

This chapter’s game project is the Rock, Paper, Scissors game. In this game, the player is challenged to compete against the computer in a head-to-head game based on the classic children’s game, Rock, Paper, Scissors. In this game, there are three valid moves, Rock, Paper, and Scissors. The player makes her move by selecting one of these items from a dialog window containing a listbox control. The computer’s move is generated by the game as a random number that is then associated with a move. The following list outlines the rules used to analyze the player’s and the computer’s move to determine the results of a round of play.
