Dealing with Errors

As with other programming languages, the basic process involved in debugging an AppleScript is to write a few lines of code, compile and run the script file, and then fix any errors that are reported. This process is repeated until the program is fully written and all errors have been identified and eliminated. In addition to following this basic set of steps, there are a number of other good programming practices that you should follow.
