David M. Shapiro serves as a distinguished lecturer and formerly deputy director of the Advanced Certificate in Forensic Accounting (MPA) program at CUNY’s John Jay College of Criminal Justice, teaching fraud examination, financial forensics, and managerial inspection and oversight–related courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels presently under the Department of Public Management and formerly under the Department of Economics. He is the coordinator of the undergraduate Fraud Examination and Financial Forensics programs and deputy director of the Saturday (graduate) MPA—Inspection and Oversight program.
