This book comprises Part A (including an executive summary) and Part B of a five-part series. Part B discusses and analyzes accounting information systems (AISs) through an introductory chapter; a chapter on enterprise AISs; a chapter on e-business AISs; a chapter on health care industry AISs; and a chapter on internal controls relevant to AISs. Part B is intended as both a survey and a prompt to discover further ideas germane to the changing technology and social approaches to using, managing, and negotiating through the networks of AISs affecting many of us, especially those of us in the United States.
