Using the DetailsView Control
The DetailsView control displays a single data record at a time and supports paging to allow the user to select which record that is. The DetailsView control is similar in purpose to the FormView control, although, as you’ll see, it is somewhat less flexible.
The easiest way to configure a DetailsView control is through the design surface, as shown in Figure 20-1.
