5.7. Sneak preview
So that it’s clear what the Prestige Bike Hire application does, let’s look at some typical interactions between a user and the system, using the browser-based user interface.
On invoking the application as a user, the ‘welcome’ page (Figure 5.4) is displayed.

Note that the user has not been asked to log in yet. The welcome page, and the other general information pages, have no security restrictions, so the Web container does not need to authenticate the client.
