Introduction
Strike-slip displacements occur along near-vertical faults that offset basement (Harding 1990). Displacements along strike-slip faults are predominantly in the strike direction of the fault, and the vertical separations of the horizons along strike-slip faults may alternate between normal and reverse separations.
