How to do it...

  1. If you closed ArcGIS Pro before starting this recipe, you will need to start ArcGIS Pro. Then, open the CoordinateSystems.aprx project located in C:\Student\ArcGISProCookbook\Chapter6\CoordinateSystems using the skills you have learned in past recipes.
  2. Click on the Insert tab in the ribbon.
  3. Click on the New Map button located on the Project group in the Insert tab. As you have seen demonstrated in past recipes, this will create a new blank 2D map in your project. The new map should automatically be opened and named Map.
  4. In the Contents pane, right-click on the Map and select Properties from the menu that appears, as illustrated in the following screenshot:
