Chapter 19. Documenting a Service Specification
A service specification serves two purposes. First, it specifies what the service implementation team needs to implement. Second, it serves as a guide for new service users to help them understand what the service is and what it is for.
Services that are intended to be reused must be usable in different solution contexts. This document should clearly indicate what those different solution contexts are, highlighting their similarities and differences. If the service is employed differently in the different contexts, this must be made clear as well.
