Securing other NoSQL databases

As noted in Chapter 6, Defining the Data and Analytics Architecture, NoSQL databases other than Hadoop are sometimes deployed in an IIoT architecture. For example, the time series data from sensors often resides in NoSQL databases on edge devices and field servers.

Many NoSQL databases are open source and are rapidly changing, so the attack vectors for NoSQL databases are not well mapped out. New attack vectors continue to emerge and can put the NoSQL data stores at risk.
