Finishes

The tables in this part provide methods for selecting some common finish materials. The information is presented in tabular format for easy use. Simply go to the table covering the material of interest and look in the row or column for the requirements of your project and other criteria. Then follow the corresponding column or row to the recommended selection of the particular finish material type.

Tables 4G–1 through 4G–3 will assist you with wood flooring, resilient flooring, and carpeting. Tables 4G–4 through 4G–6 provide information on ceramic tile.
