This book has described a wide spectrum of models, investigating what they may be made from, explaining why they may be produced, and discussing how they provide different modes of inquiry in architecture. The use of models as a medium and mechanism through which the development of architectural knowledge and design innovation can be produced remains paramount to the discipline, and this appears very unlikely to change.
