Customizing withPAINT

The acrylic leather paints developed especially for customizing are amazing. The colors are great and give good coverage—two coats is almost always all you need, even though you’ll apply the paints very thinly with each coat. Even plain white sneakers with some simple color blocking pop—and you can do so much more than that. In this chapter we’ll play with painting with a brush and a toothpick, using tape with paint for geometric and striped designs, and creating fun color texture.
