Abstract
Corporate profiles within the IT industry have a significant demand and a formidable problem when it comes to secure data transfer. Malicious users and attackers are proliferating at an alarming rate. An efficient security protocol must protect the data communication process in all circumstances and not leave a trapdoor for malicious users. Nowadays, researchers are considering deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) computing as an intermediate for ultra-scale computation. One of the potential applications of DNA is to hide data or messages to improve security. Though DNA computing is at a primordial level, it can be applicable in many fields and can resolve several hard problems successfully. The use of DNA computing has been the subject of numerous proposals from researchers looking to strengthen data security. This chapter’s primary goal is to investigate the potential applications of DNA computing in cryptography, with the ultimate goal of facilitating the safe and efficient ...
