Abstract

Today cyber threats are becoming more sophisticated and technology is advancing at a rapid pace, new approaches to cybersecurity and digital forensics are required. Artificial intelligence (AI) has surfaced as a potential game-changer in the fight against these challenges. This article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the role that artificial intelligence plays in cybersecurity and digital forensics. By radically improving threat identification, mitigation, and incident response, technologies powered by artificial intelligence are reshaping cybersecurity. Machine learning and deep learning are some of the approaches being used to sift through massive amounts of data, spot anomalies, and predict when security breaches may occur. In addition, AI-powered solutions are making cybersecurity systems more flexible, which opens the door to proactive defensive mechanisms and real-time threat intelligence. The field of digital forensics is seeing heavy use of artificial intelligence (AI) to speed ...
